These Terms & Conditions explain the rules, responsibilities and service terms that apply when you use our website, submit an enquiry, request a quotation or confirm a catering booking with us. By using our website or booking our catering services, you agree to follow the terms mentioned below.
About Our Services
The BBQ Catering Company provides catering services for events in Bangalore, including weddings, birthdays, housewarming functions, corporate events, small parties, live BBQ catering, live counters and custom food service requirements.
Our services may include:
- Menu planning
- Food preparation
- Food delivery
- Buffet setup
- Live BBQ counters
- Live food stations
- Service staff
- Event catering coordination
- Equipment and counter setup, where applicable

Enquiries and Quotations
Customers can contact us through our website, phone, WhatsApp or email to request catering details or quotations.
A quotation may be prepared based on:

All quotations are subject to availability and may change if the event details, guest count, menu or service requirements are modified.
Booking Confirmation
A catering booking is confirmed only after the agreed advance payment is received. Until the advance payment is made, the event date and service slot will not be considered blocked.
Once the booking is confirmed, we begin planning the event, which may include menu coordination, procurement, staff allocation, logistics and setup preparation.
Advance Payment
Advance payment is required to confirm the booking. The advance amount may vary depending on the event size, menu, date, service type and total booking value.
The balance payment must be made as per the payment terms agreed during booking. Failure to make the required payment on time may affect service confirmation or delivery.
Pricing and Payment Terms
All prices are based on the agreed menu, guest count and service requirement.
Additional charges may apply for:
- Increased guest count
- Additional menu items
- Extra live counters
- Extended service duration
- Long-distance delivery
- Special setup requirements
- Extra staff requirement
- Last-minute changes
- Venue restrictions requiring additional logistics
- Parking, entry or venue charges, if applicable
Payments must be made through official payment methods shared by The BBQ Catering Company.
Guest Count Confirmation
The customer must provide the final guest count before the agreed deadline. Food quantity, staff allocation and setup planning are done based on the confirmed guest count.
If the guest count increases after confirmation, additional charges will apply. If the guest count reduces after procurement or preparation has started, refunds or adjustments may not be applicable for the reduced count.
Menu Confirmation
The menu must be confirmed before the event as per the agreed timeline. Menu changes are possible only if requested before procurement or preparation begins.
Last-minute menu changes may not always be possible. If the revised menu increases the cost, the additional amount must be paid before the event.
Event Date, Time and Venue
The customer is responsible for sharing accurate event details, including:
- Event date
- Event time
- Service start time
- Venue address
- Google Maps location
- Contact person details
- Venue access instructions
- Parking details
- Lift or service lift availability
- Venue rules and restrictions
Incorrect or incomplete information may result in delays, additional charges or service limitations.
Delivery and Setup
Our team will deliver food, equipment and setup materials based on the confirmed service package. For full-service catering, our team may arrive before the service time to complete unloading, arrangement, buffet setup, live counter setup and final checks.
The customer must ensure that the venue is ready and accessible before our team arrives. Delays caused by venue restrictions, entry issues, parking problems, lift restrictions or incorrect location details are not the responsibility of The BBQ Catering Company.
Live BBQ and Live Counters
For live BBQ catering, live cooking counters or food stations, the customer must ensure that the venue permits such setups. The venue should provide sufficient space, ventilation, power access and movement access wherever required.
If the venue does not permit live counters, BBQ setup, smoke-based counters, gas or electric equipment after the booking is confirmed, the service format may need to be modified. Any additional cost caused by venue restrictions or alternate arrangements will be charged separately.
Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for:
- Providing accurate event and venue details
- Confirming guest count on time
- Confirming menu on time
- Arranging venue permissions
- Ensuring venue access
- Providing power and water access, if required
- Arranging tables or furniture if not included in the package
- Ensuring security entry permission for our team
- Making payments as per agreed terms
- Informing us early about changes or restrictions
Smooth event execution depends on timely and accurate coordination from the customer.
Service Duration
Service duration will be based on the booking agreement and event requirement. If the event extends beyond the agreed service time, additional staff or service charges may apply. Extended service is subject to team availability and operational feasibility.
Food Quantity and Consumption
Food quantity is planned based on the confirmed guest count and standard serving portions. The BBQ Catering Company is not responsible for shortage if the actual number of guests exceeds the confirmed count. Refunds will not be provided for leftover food, lower attendance or guests not consuming certain menu items.
Food Handling
For delivery-only orders, food handling after delivery becomes the responsibility of the customer or venue representative. Food should be consumed within a reasonable time after delivery.
We are not responsible for food quality issues caused by delayed consumption, improper storage, reheating by third parties or handling after delivery. For full-service catering, our team will manage the food during the agreed service duration.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations, postponements, guest count reductions and refund requests will be handled as per our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Customers are requested to inform us as early as possible in case of cancellation or date change.
Cancellations made close to the event date may attract deductions or may not be eligible for refund if preparation, procurement, staffing or logistics have already started.
Postponement or Date Change
Postponement requests are subject to availability. If the revised date is available, the advance amount may be adjusted against the new booking.
If the revised date is unavailable, the booking may be treated as a cancellation as per our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Additional charges may apply for menu changes, price changes, logistics or revised event requirements.
Website Use
The content on our website is provided for general information about our catering services. Users must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, copy content without permission or use website information for unlawful purposes. We may update website content, service information, menu details or pricing information at any time without prior notice.
Photos, Videos and Event Content
During events, we may capture photos or videos of food setup, buffet counters, live counters or catering arrangements for internal records, service documentation, portfolio or marketing use. We will avoid using identifiable guest images without reasonable care. If you do not want your event setup to be photographed or used for marketing, please inform us before the event.
Intellectual Property
All website content, text, images, branding, menu layouts and service material belong to The BBQ Catering Company unless otherwise stated. Users are not allowed to copy, reproduce, modify or reuse our website content, images or branding without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
The BBQ Catering Company will make reasonable efforts to provide timely and professional catering service. However, we will not be liable for delays, service limitations or issues caused by circumstances outside our control, including traffic, weather, venue restrictions, power failure, customer-side delays, incorrect information or force majeure events. Our liability, if any, will be limited to the value of the specific service affected and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Force Majeure
We will not be responsible for failure or delay in service caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
These may include:
- Heavy rain or extreme weather
- Traffic restrictions
- Road closures
- Government restrictions
- Natural disasters
- Strikes or civil disturbances
- Accidents or emergencies
- Power failure at the venue
- Venue access issues
- Public safety restrictions
- Any other situation outside our control
In such cases, we will coordinate with the customer and try to provide the best possible solution.
Changes to Terms & Conditions
The BBQ Catering Company may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Customers are encouraged to review this page before confirming a booking.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws of India. Any dispute arising from our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
